Nathan Blow, PhD.
Nathan S. Blow, PhD. has been working as a scientific manuscript editor and science writer for over a decade. Most recently, Nathan was the Editor-in-Chief of the journal BioTechniques. Nathan has served as a handling editor on hundreds of manuscripts from every area of the life science landscape, and has had oversight of editorial decisions on many more manuscripts. This experience has given Nathan a unique insight into what is required when submitting a manuscript and how best to communicate experimental results. Nathan has published 12 peer-reviewed articles in leading journals (including Proceedings in the National Academy of Sciences, PLoS Pathogens, and Gene), and over 200 science news/feature articles (in outlets including Nature, Nature Methods, and BioTechniques). Nathan has a PhD. in Genetics from Syracuse University along with postdoctoral experience from Harvard Medical School/Boston Children’s Hospital.
