If you have never used an editor before, you might wonder how the process works and what you will get back following the first round of editing. Well, wonder no more..this post will detail exactly what CSE will deliver.
Following editing, there will be at least two documents that you will receive — an edited manuscript with all changes tracked (a Word document) and a 2-5 page summary document from the editor that will point out an issues discovered during review and editing or suggestions on how to improve presentation in the future. Authors should carefully read through both documents once they are received and look for any queries or questions that might have been added by the editor. These will be highlighted in yellow so that they are clearly identified.
Once you have reviewed the documents, if you have any questions, you can email or call the editor directly to discuss. We are here to make everything simpler and faster, which means we want to ensure that all comments and changes are clearly understood. We are happy to have any conversations as needed.
